Hey, it’s nice to meet you.

I’m ABSD, you can call me AB (they/them) for short.

ABSD stands for my initials first. When I got married, I choose to put my maiden name and my mother’s maiden name to be my new middle name. It did not take long for the Universe to uncover that ABSD was not just my initials but it would soon become my name & an important aspect of my identity.

Shortly after married life began, I knew that I needed to leave my home state to open myself up to more by moving to the stunning state of Colorado. Fast forward, I began to transition to my fully authentic self which meant embracing my identity as nonbinary. From then on out, ABSD was my first name.

As time moved forward, alignment began to click in many aspects of my life, including A Better Standard Direction. I did not plan for the organization to match my own name identity but one day it came into my awareness like a lightening bolt of clarity.

It is my greatest gift to be a vessel of love and healing for all Beings on this planet. I am here to build bridges to create new norms through living a better standard direction of life. We are meant to LIVE; that is the intention of this organization. To remove the muck that is holding us back from living our most vibrant lives that takes care of us and the Earth.

I am a heart-leader, ecopsychologist, restorer of the Earth, Women’s Guidance Facilitator, teacher, student, fur-baby momma, highly-sensitive Being, creative, philosophizer, explorer, and a vessel of unconditional love.
